Best Time to Visit Grahan Village Trek
The best time to visit the Grahan Village Trek is from March to May and then from September to November. However, it is best to avoid the monsoon season (June to August) as the trail can become slippery and risky due to heavy rainfall. The winter months (December to February) are also not recommended as the trail is covered with snow, making it difficult to trek.

How to reach Grahan Trek
Kasol can be reached by various modes of transportation. It is approximately 530 km away from Delhi and 280 km from Chandigarh. The best way to reach Kasol from Delhi is to take an overnight Volvo bus. Other private operators also run buses between Delhi and Kasol in the evening. Alternatively, you can also reach Kasol by car or by using public transport such as trains and buses.

Trek to Grahan Village
To reach the starting point of the Grahan trek, you will need to make your own way to Kasol. Once there, embark on the 9 km long guided trek to Grahan village, which should take approximately 4 to 5 hours to complete. Follow the red arrows along the way, as they will lead you to your destination, with the peaceful Parvati River and your guide as constant companions. After crossing two bridges and hiking a bit further, you will come across a few houses, indicating that you have arrived at Grahan village. Take some time to explore the village, interact with the friendly locals, and then enjoy a delicious dinner around a bonfire before spending the night at a homestay or tent in Grahan.

After having breakfast in the morning, gather your belongings and begin to walk back the same way you came from to reach the starting point and complete the trek.
