Day-wise itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh to Joshimath
Start early from Haridwar or Rishikesh and drive along the Ganga through Devprayag, Srinagar, Karnaprayag and Chamoli to Joshimath. Check in on arrival and spend the evening at leisure. The drive takes around 9 to 10 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Day 2: Auli Sightseeing and Drive to Chopta
After breakfast, drive to Auli for meadows, Himalayan views and the cable car ride if you choose it. In winter, enjoy snow activities or a ski session if conditions allow. Later, drive back via Chamoli and Gopeshwar to Chopta, check in and have dinner at the stay. The drive to Chopta takes around 5 to 6 hours.
Day 3: Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek
Begin the trek early to Tungnath, one of the highest Shiva temples in the world, through rhododendron forest and open meadows. Continue to Chandrashila summit if the weather allows, for views of Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba. Return to Chopta in the afternoon and relax. The trek is about 3.5 km one way to Tungnath, with roughly 1.5 km more to Chandrashila.
Day 4: Chopta to Haridwar / Rishikesh
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh via Ukhimath, Rudraprayag and Devprayag. The tour ends on arrival, with drop-off at your preferred point.

Important information
Important travel information
Both Auli and the Tungnath and Chandrashila trek depend on weather, snow and trail conditions, and activities may be shortened or skipped for safety. Skiing at Auli is seasonal, usually from January to early March, and Chopta has heavy snowfall in winter, so trails and roads may close. Road access between Rishikesh, Joshimath and Chopta can be affected by landslides during the monsoon (July to September) and by snow in winter, so timings and the itinerary may change. Auli is at about 2,500 metres, Chopta at about 2,600 metres and Chandrashila at about 4,000 metres, so carry warm layers, a waterproof jacket, sturdy trekking shoes, gloves, a torch, sunscreen and any personal medicines. Days 1 and 2 involve long drives, so guests prone to motion sickness should carry medication. Mobile networks and ATMs are limited at Auli and Chopta, so carry enough cash. Guests with knee, breathing or heart concerns should check with a doctor before booking. Cancellation terms, the payment schedule and the final inclusions will be shared in writing with your confirmed quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Can this package be customised? Yes, request a quote with your dates, number of travellers and preferences.
Is the price fixed? No confirmed starting price has been provided; request a current quotation.
Are activities guaranteed? No. They depend on weather, season, permissions and the confirmed itinerary.
